28th February & 1st March
Mental Health First Aid is an educational course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help a person who may be developing a mental health issue. In the same way as we learn physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health.
Why you should attend this workshop?
Our Adult MHFA is an internationally recognised two day course.
By the end of the course will be able to:
Recognise the symptoms of mental ill health
Provide initial help
Guide a person towards appropriate professional help

The day includes a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. You will get an MHFA manual and workbook to keep and refer to whenever you need it.
On completion of the two day course you will receive a certificate to confirm that you are a trained Mental Health First Aider.
This interactive course will be delivered in person at the CECA YH Office in Morley, Leeds.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
