Civils Training Group is run by a committee of members from Civil Engineering Companies, with contributions from CECA (Yorkshire & Humberside) and CITB.
The day to day operations are the responsibility of our Training Manager, Jemma Carmody and Business Support Office, Jennifer Patel.
Civils Training Group was formed in 1999 to bring together Construction and Civil Engineering Companies within the Yorkshire & Humberside area, in order to improve the standard of training and skills within the local workforce.
The Group is run by a comittee of members from Civil Engineering companies, with contributions from CECA (Yorkshire & Humberside) and CITB.
Through collaboration and cooperation, all members of the group are able to make financial savings by having the knowledge and tools to access grants and funding opportunities available within the industry, as well as developing a bank of knowledge on training providers within the region.
We work closely with the industry skills broker, CITB, receiving support and guidance from the organisation as well as providing assistance to their target achievements for the industry.
We are always keen to see new members and would be pleased to hear from any company which feels it may benefit from joining. Members of CTG do not need to be CECA members – all Civil Engineering Contractors are welcome.
