Powering the South – Maxine Narburgh, Greater SE energy hub; Jamie Gordon, becg; Ollie Pendered, Community Energy South
- Three key speakers from the world of energy will deliver their take on what the shape of energy provision in the South might look like going forward.
- Maxine Narburgh, Regional Hub Manager for the Greater South East Energy Hub will present on the government energy strategy for the South East and the GSE Energy Hub’s role in turning this into a reality.
- Jamie Gordon, Director for Infrastructure & Energy at the becg (Built Environment Communications Group) will then expand on the regional infrastructure that will be required to enable this.
- Ollie Pendered, Chief Executive of Community Energy South and Executive Director for Riding Sunbeams Ltd will then provide a local perspective on delivering the strategy and provide an insight into the potential influence of green energy on key transport infrastructure.
