CECA, along with a number of other industry bodies, are organising a key industry event on the topic of ‘safe digging around utility services’. The event will be held at Loughborough University on 19th October between 12.30 and 4.30pm and will focus on what does good practice look like when carrying out work that is likely to include utility services. Key presentations will be given leading to facilitated discussion between a number of major players operating in the utility sector and all attendees – with a view to finding out how industry can improve its performance (i.e reduce the number of strikes/incidents) when working around utility services. This event will be of interest to clients, asset owners, project managers, designers, supply chain contractor, site supervisors and those utility practitioners who play a key role in delivering safe working practices. Further details to be announced in due course. To register your interest, please visit here;
