As part of the Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Programme, the Inspiring Change Conference has in the past showcased success stories from people from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of organizations working in construction and the built environment. It has helped deliver the knowledge and insights needed to make a difference to organizations and the working lives of their employees.
This year, we’d planned hold the main conference in May and then follow up on some of the themes and topics with a series of bite-sized conferences around the UK. Subject to Government guidelines, we are still hoping to hold the Inspiring Change Conference in London on 10 December, but in the meantime, we are launching the first of our Inspiring Change Bitesize conferences as a webinar on Thursday 20 August starting at 10.00 am.
The first event will focus on Flexible and Agile Working, a recurring theme at the main conferences in the past but, this year, when most organisations have been adapting to uncertain circumstances, it is now a very hot topic and many businesses are expected to make significant changes to working patterns and shift to more widespread and regular homeworking.
Join us to be inspired by industry trailblazers in agile and flexible working and learn how they introduced good flexible/agile working practices pre-COVID 19 and how they have adapted to the “new normal”. Hear about legal and safety obligations and how managers can help ensure their approach creates a positive and enabling environment for their team.
