CECA Yorkshire & Humber, along with a number of member companies and National Highways, helped to deliver the fantastic ‘Give Construction A Try’ event at Wakefield College on 9th November 2022.
The event provides Year 9 and 10 students from the area with opportunities to have hands-on experiences of different construction activities. This included brick laying, bridge building, painting and decorating, roofing and much much more.
Over 200 students from 15 schools took part in the event, and the students really enjoyed the chance to engage with different employers and sectors.
Other CECA Members that took part included Morgan Sindall and SCP Transport.
