CECA is supporting the ICE South technical event on the subject of ‘Recognising and controlling respiratory health hazards in Construction’ , still one of the greatest challenges faced by our industry. It will be held 18:00 hrs Thursday 1st February 2024 at the Hilton Hotel, Gatwick South Terminal. This will be a cross industry event delivered by Gary Pharo from TechIOSH, a technical sales specialist. Gary will help us understand the range of respiratory hazards that construction workers face and provide insight into the nature of the life limiting/ending illnesses that may result from not protecting our workers. He will also talk us through the agents of greatest concern to the HSE (asbestos, silica, wood and concrete dusts, isocyanate coating content). For full details and to book a place please follow the attached link: Recognising and controlling respiratory health hazards in construction | Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Networking opportunities and light refreshments will be available from 17:15hrs
