Supplier Guide: Working With National Highways

Index:

Introduction

This guide has been developed by a collaborative working group Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) and the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and supported by National Highways. Its aim is to provide information and support to civil engineering contracting companies, providers of professional and management services, and their respective supply chain partners who have not previously been engaged with National Highways and the UK procurement process. For smaller companies, information is included to make it easier to find work and to do business with National Highways and their suppliers.

The guide will tell you where to find contract opportunities, training, guidance and other useful resources currently available from National Highways and other government and industry sources.

Information is provided about National Highways, its work and some of the key competencies and capabilities needed to be successful in joining and working as part of National Highway’s supply chain.

The guide does not change or replace the way that first-tier suppliers working directly for National Highways select and manage companies within their own supply chains.
