On 30 September 2024 CECA held an in-person stakeholder event to allow London Luton Airport’s expansion project to be presented to contractors with a view to delivering this £2 billion+ opportunity.
Members were invited to take up the opportunity of attending the event, at which representatives for Luton Rising set out how contractors may potentially aid in making the case for the project to Government in support of the Development Consent Order (DCO).
Luton Airport’s expansion plans will extensively benefit local communities, take account of environmental impacts and will offer substantial opportunities to the supply chain.
Nick Platts, Managing Director, Luton Rising presented on the Airport’s growth plans and set out its potential contribution to the wider economy, its important to the Golden Triangle, and the wider London region. You can see the presentation slides here.
